From a new find in this important pegmatite district! Reddish-brown lustrous octahedral crystals of microlite to 15 mm in size are nicely set about this 19 x 17 x 17 mm matrix. The crystals show good translucency. There is some very tiny microscopic chipping present on some crystal edges, these only seen with a 10x loupe. These are very large crystals for the species. The main crystal is complete on the back side of the specimen. Superb for the species! I am told that these could possibly be stannomicrolite. More analysis needs to be performed, but suffice it to say that the crystals are rich in tin. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 31: 6.

Superb glassy reddish-brown translucent octahedral crystals of microlite to 13 mm across in size are studded nicely across the front of this 25 x 24 x 20 mm matrix. Very slight chipping is present to the upper back side of the top most little crystal, otherwise very clean and in great shape damage-wise. This is superb for this uncommon species! From a recent find. I am told that it is possible that these are stannomicrolite, but more work needs to be done. These are rich in tin. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 31: 6.

A large choice loose glassy translucent reddish-brown single octahedral crystal of microlite measuring 17 x 15 x 13 mm in size. This is a superb large high quality example of this uncommon species! To my naked eye this is perfect; with a 10x loupe I can find very slight tiny minimal microscopic chipping on some crystal edges. Overall a superb little crystal. I am told that it is possible that these are stannomicrolite, but more work needs to be done. These are rich in tin. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 31: 6.

A superbly crystallized example for this uncommon species from a new find! Glassy lustrous translucent reddish-brown octahedral crystals of microlite to 13 mm across are completely covering the front of a 22 x 18 x 16 mm matrix. Very sparse microscopic level chipping is seen on a few of the crystal edges, only viewed by my eyes with a 10x loupe. The overall quality is excellent for this species! I am told that it is possible that these are stannomicrolite, but more work needs to be done. These are rich in tin. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 31: 6.

An outstanding grouping of high quality reddish brown translucent glassy octahedral crystals of microlite, the largest measuring to 15 mm in size, are set nicely upon a 23 x 18 x 25 mm matrix. A very choice and superb large thumbnail/toe-nail example for this uncommon species! Very minor chipping is present on one crystal corner at the extreme left of the piece; otherwise exceptional in condition. From a recent find in this important pegmatite district. I am told that it is possible that these are stannomicrolite, but more work needs to be done. These are rich in tin. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 31: 6.
