Large fine transparent colorless lustrous twinned calcite crystal measuring 8.5 x 8.0 x 3.5 cm in size. Complete all around. With a 10x loupe one can find very minimal and tiny chipping. To the naked eye this is in excellent condition. Fine old-time British classic! Ref: Symes & Young, Minerals of Northern England (2008).

Lovely pink translucent scalenohedral crystals of calcite to 1.2 cm in size are covering the top of a 7.5 x 6.0 x 3.0 cm matrix. Light cleaving on the exterior of the piece; all of the prominent crystals are in great condition. Ref: The Mineralogical Record, 22(1), 13-20; 28. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.

Aesthetic and attractive red translucent twinned crystals of calcite to 3.2 cm in size are scattered over the top of a 9.0 x 8.5 x 5.5 cm matrix. From the finds at this mine in the late 1990's. In excellent condition, sits nicely for display, shows well all around 360 degrees. Ex Wolfgang E. Henkel collection.

Beautiful glassy colorless gemmy transparent calcite crystals forming a 8.6 x 6.0 x 5.3 cm cluster without matrix. Very neat crystallography on this one with a first generation scalenohedral calcite crystal, this studded by a later generation rhombohedral crystal, with the first generation crystal termination coming through the later rhombohedral crystal. Complete all around; I can find no points of attachment. I can find very tiny chipping along one crystal edge, this only seen by my eyes with a 10x loupe. A showy and choice cluster of glassy partly transparent calcite crystals measuring 8.0 x 8.0 x 5.0 cm in size overall. Reddish in color due to iron oxide inclusions. Sits up perfectly for display. A terminated amethyst crystallized stalactite coming off matrix, this scattered with rhombohedral crystals of calcite to 0.7 cm. In great condition and shows all around. Measures 8.5 x 3.5 x 3.0 cm and weighs 0.17 lbs.

Unique and highly attractive, a large terminated pale pink cobalt-rich calcite crystal set with a little matrix. Shows nicely all around. Really sparkles and is quite showy. Tiny black balls of what are likely coronadite are present throughout. Measures 9.0 x 6.0 x 5.5 cm; this is a beautiful and unusual Tsumeb calcite! No damage.

A superb matrix example for this relatively rare species! A brilliant mirror-bright sharply formed undamaged metallic carrollite crystal measuring 3.2 x 2.8 x 2.7 cm in size is frozen attractively within a 6.5 x 6.5 x 5.0 cm calcite cleavage matrix. Neat crystal faces; these are incredibly lustrous. The quality is outstanding.

This is an excellent and superbly crystallized example for this species! Lustrous large blocky brownish-black crystals of cassiterite measuring to 4.5 cm in diameter are set nicely in a cluster, the back side mostly coated by crystallized colorless albite. There is some contacting present on the lower left edge of the grouping as seen in the photo at upper left. Outside of this, the crystals are razor sharp and undamaged; the crystals are complete all around with no real points of attachment. Outstanding for the species and measures 5.1 x 4.2 x 7.3 cm in size overall.
