A very neat and interesting combination piece for this pegmatite! The specimen consists of a colorless glassy slightly transparent quartz crystal; on one edge is a gemmy transparent lustrous pale blue double terminated aquamarine crystal measuring 4.8 cm in length. Studded along this aquamarine crystal are two pale purple transparent octahedral crystals of fluorite to 1.2 cm in size. No damage. Size: 9.0 x 7.8 x 2.7 cm. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. Two choice glassy gemmy blue aquamarine crystals are forming a parallel cluster with silver crystallized muscovite. Complete all around; one tiny chip is present along a crystal edge on the back of the piece as seen in the two lower photos. Outside of this, the piece is perfect and the chip is not seen when the specimen is displayed properly. The crystals are both double terminated. A neat and beautiful hand sized gem crystal specimen! An outstanding large bright complex bournonite crystal measuring 6.9 x 5.3 x 3.2 cm in size set on a thin matrix. Considering the size of the crystal, for this brittle mineral, the piece is in excellent condition damage-wise. Very minor quartz in association. Complete on the sides as seen in the photos; the matrix is present on the back and out of view when the piece is displayed (see last photo). Superb for this species! Superb example for this species consisting of a 9.0 x 5.5 x 3.5 cm white crystallized albite matrix, one side covered by lustrous glassy yellowish-green translucent prismatic brazilianite crystals to 4.0 cm in size. Some of the world's finest brookite specimens have come from this locality. The example shown here is outstanding. A large flat terminated brown slightly translucent and lustrous crystal measuring 4.0 x 2.0 x 0.1 cm in size is set aesthetically upon a 7.0 x 6.5 x 4.0 cm matrix with minor crystallized quartz. The crystal shows perfectly all around 360 degrees; no damage or chipping. Superb piece for the species! Base included.
