Outstanding lustrous deep "linarite" blue crystals of azurite to 3.2 cm in size scattered thickly over the front of a white 8.5 x 6.0 x 6.0 cm matrix. Sits perfectly for display. This is in outstanding condition. I can find one tiny micro-chip on a crystal edge that is seen in one of the close-up photos. For one of these Milpillas azurites, this is as perfect as they get. An excellent matrix combination piece for this locality! A lustrous grouping of parallel dark blue terminated azurite crystals measuring 4.0 x 2.0 x 1.5 cm in size is set aesthetically upon a 9.0 x 6.0 x 5.0 cm matrix. There is a grouping of acicular green malachite crystals measuring 3.5 cm in length on one side of this matrix. There is an area of natural contacting at the upper right corner of the azurite grouping; in the same area, along the vertical edge, is very light chipping. All of this is visible in the photos.
