A 8.0 x 6.5 x 5.0 cm quartz matrix is richly scattered on two sides by sparkling green botryoidal crystallized mimetite, or campylite, to 0.5 cm in diameter. Minor damage is present as seen; the largest majority of crystals are in great condition. The base has been lightly shaped by a trim saw and the piece sits perfectly upon this for display. Some of the world's finest examples for this species have come from this Chinese locality. A highly unusual and very beautiful Idaho pyromorphite! A neat thin "fan-like" grouping of lustrous yellowish-green pyromorphite crystals is standing up straight from the matrix. This measures 5.0 cm across, about 3.0 cm tall, and 0.2 to 0.3 cm in thickness. There are many more typical crystals scattered throughout the piece. This shows very well all around 360 degrees. There is no damage or chipping. Measures 8.5 x 5.5 x 5.0 cm in size overall. This was at one time in the collection of Mel and Grace Dyck. It was in our collection for a short time, then we sold it to Frank Imbriacco. We are now pleased to have it back. We think it a wonderful piece in terms of being quite unusual and highly attractive.
