Blocky crystals of azurite to 2.5 cm in size forming a 6.5 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm chain-like cluster. These are now replaced by velvety green crystallized malachite. Classic pseudomorph for this mine that is in great condition. Weighs 1.1 oz. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 14: 283-298.

A shallow open vug spanning a 9.0 x 9.0 x 6.0 cm matrix, this scattered richly with lovely green malachite replaced azurite crystals to 2.0 cm in size. In excellent condition as seen; very showy and attractive. Ex Tab Farthing collection.

Superb terminated prismatic crystals of azurite to 2.0 cm in size are set aesthetically about a 8.5 x 5.7 x 5.0 cm matrix. One of the crystals is double terminated. The azurite crystals are replaced by showy chatoyant green crystalline malachite. Minor cerussite in association. Shows nicely all around 360 degrees - no damage. Ref: Gebhard, G. (1999): Tsumeb II. A 9.0 x 7.5 x 4.0 cm matrix, the top covered by lovely green botryoidal crystallized smithsonite. Present are many terminated azurite crystals, these now replaced by dark green crystalline malachite, the largest 3.5 cm in length. Small twinned colorless cerussite crystals to 1.0 cm are present as well. In great condition as seen; very colorful and neat with the association.

This is a truly superb well crystallized example of primary malachite crystals! Prismatic dark green lustrous malachite crystals to 3.5 cm in length are thickly covering a shallow open vug that is lined by micro blue crystallized shattuckite. All of the prominent malachite crystals show terminations; in many cases there are "multiple terminations". There are small emerald green translucent crystals of dioptase present on the upper portion of the piece. This is in excellent shape damage-wise. Measures 8.0 x 6.5 x 4.0 cm in size overall. A beautiful example for this species - neat with the combination! Ref: LAPIS 12(4), 11-14.

The world's finest examples of manganite have come from this old German locality. The small cabinet specimen shown here is excellent, consisting of a 7.1 x 5.2 x 4.8 cm massive manganite matrix, the top covered by brilliant lustrous sparkling black terminated prismatic crystals to 1.0 cm in length. Quite clean of damage and chipping; an excellent example of this old German classic!

Lustrous black prismatic crystals of manganite to 2.5 cm in length covering most of a 8.5 x 7.5 x 7.0 cm matrix with white massive barite. Some damage as seen; still, these are good large bright crystals for the species. From the classic locality for manganite. Sits perfectly for display by itself. Showy combination piece featuring a bluish-green blocky amazonite crystal, this set with a partly gemmy terminated smoky quartz crystal. Measures 6.5 x 4.5 x 4.5 cm in size overall. Very tiny minute chip is present on one edge on the smoky quartz termination. Shows nicely all around and I think in excellent condition. Sits perfectly for display by itself. A 8.0 x 6.5 x 5.0 cm quartz matrix is richly scattered on two sides by sparkling green botryoidal crystallized mimetite, or campylite, to 0.5 cm in diameter. Minor damage is present as seen; the largest majority of crystals are in great condition. The base has been lightly shaped by a trim saw and the piece sits perfectly upon this for display. Good British classic.
