Fine acanthite specimens have been known from this locality for the past several years. Rarely are the crystals super sharp. The example shown here exhibits excellent sharp cubic crystals of metallic semi-lustrous gray acanthite to 0.9 cm on edge scattered over crystalline acanthite and breccia matrix. There are at least 6 excellent crystals present; the piece is undamaged. This is very fine for acanthite regardless of the locality. Size: 7.0 x 6.0 x 4.3 cm.

Neat and attractive spray of terminated gemmy blue aquamarine crystals measuring 6.5 x 3.0 x 2.5 cm in size overall. Complete all around 360 degrees. Light chipping present low on the piece. All of the prominent crystals are perfect. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.

A superb glassy slightly smoky colorless translucent twinned cerussite crystal grouping is set nicely upon a thin matrix of green sparkling crystallized mottramite. An outstanding well crystallized grouping of native copper measuring 9.5 x 6.5 x 3.2 cm in size overall. Some of the crystals measure to 1.7 cm in size; some show elongated twinning. Completely crystallized all around, front and back, and free of damage. The specimen has an excellent patina. A superb example of exceptional quality. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. A very unusual and neat epidote crystal grouping! The crystals are prismatic and single terminated, measuring 10.7 x 1.0 x 0.7 cm in size. A very fine extremely lustrous and mirror bright cluster of dark green terminated epidote crystals. Complete all around - only very minimal and tiny chipping is present, this only seen with a 10x loupe. Overall this is very clean of damage and in excellent condition. Slight translucency on the edges with strong lighting. Measures 5.7 x 1.8 x 1.2 cm in size overall. Excellent Austrian classic. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 17: 167-181.

The world's finest examples of manganite have come from this old German locality. The small cabinet specimen shown here is excellent, consisting of a 7.1 x 5.2 x 4.8 cm massive manganite matrix, the top covered by brilliant lustrous sparkling black terminated prismatic crystals to 1.0 cm in length. Quite clean of damage and chipping; an excellent example of this old German classic!

Showy combination piece featuring a bluish-green blocky amazonite crystal, this set with a partly gemmy terminated smoky quartz crystal. Measures 6.5 x 4.5 x 4.5 cm in size overall. Very tiny minute chip is present on one edge on the smoky quartz termination. Shows nicely all around and I think in excellent condition. Sits perfectly for display by itself. Some of the world's finest examples for this species have come from this Chinese locality. The example shown here is very fine, with lustrous deep orange prismatic terminated translucent crystals to 4.6 cm in length set on a matrix of massive white calcite. A superb grouping of brown crystallized pyromorphite without matrix. The crystals measure approximately to 2.0 cm in size. Minor chipping is present, not atypical of these. Overall I think the condition of the specimen is very good. The crystals are lustrous and quite thick. A fine German classic! Ref: Ref.: Lapis 16(1), 38-53. Size: 6.4 x 4.2 x 2.9 cm.

A beautiful deep green lustrous gemmy undamaged vivianite crystal measuring 7.0 x 1.8 x 0.8 cm in size, this with finger of matrix coated by tiny crystals of brown siderite. Complete all around 360 degrees. The base of the crystal is natural, slightly contacted, but showing termination faces and no damage. Very pretty small cabinet piece. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
