A 9.3 x 5.6 x 3.5 cm matrix of pale green crystallized prehnite. Set nicely upon this is a 4.2 x 3.8 cm cluster of colorless semi-lustrous tabular slightly translucent apophyllite-(KF) crystals. There are other lesser crystals scattered throughout the prehnite. Very slight contacting is present off the left side of the main cluster, away from the matrix and center of the piece. Beautiful cabinet display piece with gemmy pale green glassy lustrous cubic crystals of fluorite to 3.2 cm on edge set aesthetically upon a 13.0 x 11.0 x 7.5 cm breccia matrix. One area with small damaged crystals at far low right on the piece; all of the prominent crystals are sharply formed and damage-free. Very pretty and sits perfectly for display by itself. A 12.0 x 6.6 x 2.6 cm matrix, the top covered by pink semi-lustrous slightly translucent rhombohedral crystals of rhodochrosite to 2.4 cm in size. The rhodochrosite crystals are set on a matrix of crystallized sphalerite and are partially covered with a silicic fine grained coating. The specimen has been repaired in two areas, basically piecing it back together from three sections. The repair is only obvious when looking at the back of the matrix; the repair is not evident at all from the display side. Ex Dawn and Jim Minette collection. Personally collected by Jim and Dawn.
