A colorful large cabinet piece consisting of a 17.0 x 8.0 x 4.6 cm quartz matrix, the top mostly coated by pale pink sparkling bladed crystals of rhodochrosite averaging 0.2 cm in size. There is a secondary sprinkling of tiny quartz over the rhodochrosite. No damage - very pretty and quite choice for a large cabinet specimen from this classic Colorado locality! The base of the specimen is sawn flat and the piece sits perfectly upon this surface for display.
