A colorful large cabinet piece consisting of a 17.0 x 8.0 x 4.6 cm quartz matrix, the top mostly coated by pale pink sparkling bladed crystals of rhodochrosite averaging 0.2 cm in size. There is a secondary sprinkling of tiny quartz over the rhodochrosite. No damage - very pretty and quite choice for a large cabinet specimen from this classic Colorado locality! The base of the specimen is sawn flat and the piece sits perfectly upon this surface for display. To the one side of this is a pale pink tabular fluorapatite crystal measuring 2.0 cm across. In great condition; shows all around 360 degrees and sits nicely for display by itself.
