Two glassy deep smoky but partly transparent quartz gwindels set on matrix. The main gwindel measures 5.5 cm across. Complete all around and measures 8.5 x 5.5 x 5.0 cm in size. Sparse tiny micro-chipping is present on the upper edge of the main gwindel. I did not see this until I louped it. I think the piece is in excellent condition. Choice Alpine classic! A flat matrix plate of crystallized "needle quartz" measuring 11.5 x 5.2 x 2.2 cm in size, this aesthetically scattered with many fine pink rhombohedral crystals of rhodochrosite to 1.0 cm in size. Very clean of damage; very typical for this famous pocket. The contrast of the pink rhodochrosite on the white needle quartz is very pleasing. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. Large translucent glassy greenish-brown twinned titanite crystal grouping attached to a small amount of matrix. Shows nicely all around. Micro-chipping is present on some edges as seen. Can be displayed from several different orientations. Size: 6.5 x 5.0 x 4.0 cm. Minor epidote in association. Very good large crystal for the species!

Beautiful combination specimen with a glassy gemmy terminated topaz crystal about 5.5 cm in height, this with a smoky quartz gem crystal attached to the back side. Chipping is present near the termination of the quartz. The topaz is perfect. Complete all around 360 degrees; the quartz is of very high quality when viewed on the back side. Size: 7.5 x 6.0 x 5.0 cm.
