An excellent mostly gemmy and transparent blue single terminated aquamarine crystal measuring 6.2 x 2.2 x 1.8 cm in size. Complete all around - no damage or chipping. The crystal exhibits a neat pyramidal termination. The edges and termination are very sharply formed. Very fine crystal for the locality. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.

A strange and attractive gem pale blue glassy transparent tabular aquamarine crystal with muscovite. Complete all around. Very sparse micro-chipping is present on some edges; as seen, this is in excellent condition. Size: 6.5 x 4.0 x 4.0 cm. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.

A superb and somewhat unusual miniature for this species featuring a lustrous metallic flattened complete bournonite crystal measuring 2.5 x 2.3 cm in size, about 0.6 cm thick, set up straight from a matrix of crystalline fluorite. Absolutely free of damage and complete all around 360 degrees, this is an outstanding miniature for the species! Size: 4.0 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm. Ref: Rocks & Minerals 80(1), 46-57.

An enormous green partly gemmy peridot crystal set in a cluster with many lesser crystals. Minor thin matrix attached on the right side of the cluster. No damage or chipping. Measures 8.0 x 7.0 x 4.5 cm. The main crystal is 8.0 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm. Superb large crystal for this species!

Loose choice glassy slightly translucent brown floater grouping of twinned hydroxylherderite crystals measuring 6.5 x 3.0 x 2.5 cm in size overall. Dark green prismatic elbaite crystals to 1.5 cm in length are present as sell. Just very minor chipping on the bottom side of the crystal, otherwise in excellent condition. Fine bladed large crystals of azurite measuring to 1.5 cm in size, these replaced by dark green crystalline malachite, are mostly covering a 5.7 x 4.4 x 4.3 cm matrix. Fine green barrel-shaped crystals of pyromorphite to 1.2 cm in length are scattered over the front of a 4.0 x 3.0 x 2.5 cm matrix. Microscopic level chipping is present on several crystal edges, this visible mainly with a 10x loupe and not the naked eye, as seen in the photos. Overall, in my opinion, the specimen is in excellent condition for this old German classic. Accompanied by an old Carnegie Museum label. Known for some of the finest pyromorphite specimens in the world, the Bunker Hill Mine in Idaho is justly famous amongst mineral collectors. The top quality miniature shown here is a classic example for the locality. Beautiful lustrous prismatic curved hexagonal green to yellowish-green crystals of pyromorphite to 1.2 cm in size are aesthetically covering a thin matrix. Two glassy deep smoky but partly transparent quartz gwindels set on matrix. The main gwindel measures 5.5 cm across. Complete all around and measures 8.5 x 5.5 x 5.0 cm in size. Sparse tiny micro-chipping is present on the upper edge of the main gwindel. I did not see this until I louped it. I think the piece is in excellent condition. Choice Alpine classic!
