A wonderful old-time specimen, acquired back in the 1960's, with gem rosy-purple cubic fluorite crystals to 5.5 cm on edge scattered over a crystallized black sphalerite matrix. As seen in the photos, all of the corners and edges are in great condition. There are several internal fracture planes in the crystals, as seen, typical of these exceptionally clear and transparent Illinois fluorites. Quite aesthetic and attractive!
