Fine old-time specimen with cubic lustrous metallic crystals of galena to 4.0 cm on edge scattered over a 12.5 x 9.5 x 9.0 cm matrix. The base of the matrix, and one side, has been shaped with a trim saw. Minor brassy marcasite in association. This is in excellent shape damage-wise with some hoppering that is completely natural. Shows all around and sits well for display. Ex University of Arizona collection.

A 13.0 x 8.0 x 4.0 cm breccia chip matrix, the front top and sides completely covered by needle-like deep red acicular crystals of inesite to 0.3 cm in length. Overall in great condition as seen. A 3.1 x 2.5 x 2.0 cm matrix, the top covered with deep red lustrous translucent proustite crystals to 0.5 cm in size. Some damage, typical of these, as seen. Still, a very fine and rich old-time classic. Chanarcillo was a major silver mining district; proustite specimens from here are always in high demand amongst collectors and are quite rare on the market. Sharp red translucent crystals of proustite to 0.4 cm in size scattered over the front side of a 2.5 x 1.6 x 1.5 cm matrix. Some damage as seen; still, most of the prominent crystals are in great condition as seen. Good classic "ruby silver" thumbnail specimen. Some of the world's finest scheelite specimens have come from this Chinese locality. The example shown here is exceptional consisting of a glowing lustrous slightly translucent orange scheelite crystal measuring 6.0 x 5.6 x 5.5 cm in size is perched perfectly on top of a muscovite crystal coated matrix measuring 10.0 x 7.2 x 7.0 cm in size. Damage-free; this sits perfectly by itself for display and shows all around 360 degrees nicely. The quality in terms of perfection, color and aesthetics is outstanding for the species! A wonderful display "half-breed" specimen measuring 7.0 x 6.0 x 5.5 cm in size. The specimen has a "base" of crystallized native copper.
