Gorgeous large grouping of purplish-red translucent glassy elbaite crystals measuring 10.5 x 3.0 x 3.0 cm in size. Naturally crystallized on the base; this is in excellent condition damage-wise. Beautiful large gem crystal from this classic locality. Weighs 138 grams. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.

Excellent purplish-red glassy lustrous terminated damage-free elbaite crystal maesuring 5.8 x 2.1 x 1.9 cm. Much of the crystal shows good transparency. There is a thin layer of white opaque elbaite on the back side of the crystal. Very good for the locality - good tourmalines from Nepal have never been common on the market. A beautiful large terminated pink and green lustrous elbaite crystal measuring a full 14.5 x 5.5 x 5.5 cm in size. Complete all around and damage-free. The crystal has a deep red core. Superb prismatic crystals of elbaite to 5.4 cm in length, these in a parallel cluster and jacketed by white crystals of albite and colorless transparent crystals of quartz to 2.7 cm and double terminated. The elbaite crystals, as typical for this locality, are dark green mostly throughout, then near gemmy pink at the top terminations. These crystals are double terminated, with crude but natural terminations at their bases. Shows all around 360 degrees; classic Stak Nala material! Size: 6.0 x 5.9 x 3.7 cm. Two beautiful gemmy lustrous green terminated elbaite crystals forming a parallel cluster with minor purplish lepidolite. Measures 6.4 x 2.1 x 1.9 cm in size. Complete all around 360 degrees. Micro-chipping is present as seen; on the right side there appears to be some contacting, but looking close with a loupe this is naturally crystallized. A very pretty tourmaline specimen! A very fine extremely lustrous and mirror bright cluster of dark green terminated epidote crystals. Complete all around - only very minimal and tiny chipping is present, this only seen with a 10x loupe. Overall this is very clean of damage and in excellent condition. Slight translucency on the edges with strong lighting. Measures 5.7 x 1.8 x 1.2 cm in size overall. Excellent Austrian classic. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 17: 167-181.
