A beautiful large cabinet combination piece from this prolific locality. The pictures here do not do this specimen the slightest justice! The piece consists of a 16.5 x 9.0 x 5.0 cm concave shaped basalt matrix, one side mostly covered by peach colored stilbite crystals to 4.0 cm in length. Near the center of the matrix is an attached grouping of pale yellow glassy gem quality twinned calcite set with a translucent lustrous lovely green apophyllite-(KF) crystal. The calcite measuring 4.0 cm across; the apophyllite-(KF) measures 3.5 cm. There is no damage. Again, the quality of the piece is outstanding; the piece is much better in person than as seen in these poor photographs. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 34: 29-33.

A 9.5 x 6.5 x 2.5 cm massive calcite matrix, the top mostly covered by deep pink flat-lying translucent calcite crystals to 2.0 cm in size. The base is flat on a calcite cleavage face. Minor kolwezite in association. In very good condition damage-wise. Previous label from dealer Gilbert Gauthier. Ref: Lapis 17(3), 13-40 (1992). Ex Lloyd Tate collection.

Large sharp metallic silver complete mirror-bright carrollite crystal measuring 3.2 x 3.0 x 1.5 cm. Crystallized all around - a floater. Light micro-chipping on what I would consider the back side, this visible in the photos. Overall very fine and choice for this species! Ex Lloyd Tate collection.

Very fine lustrous black twinned cassiterite crystals capping the top of a 3.5 x 3.0 x 2.5 cm matrix that is mostly covered with silver platy muscovite crystals. Shows all around with very minimal minor micro-chipping on some crystal edges as seen. Overall in very good condition; a fine miniature for the species. Ref: The Mineralogical Record 36(1), 45-57. Somewhat unusual and neatly twinned loose cerussite crystal measuring 4.0 x 3.0 x 3.0 cm in size. Sort of hoppered and complete all around. With a 10x loupe I can find very tiny chipping in one area. Overall I think this in excellent condition and somewhat unique. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
