Beautiful glassy gem quality colorless crystals of calcite to 3.0 cm in size are covering nicely the top of a thin matrix. No damage or chipping. This measures 11.0 x 10.0 x 3.5 cm in size. The piece is wonderful in the hand. Ref: The Mineralogical Record (2001): 32: 3. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.

Lovely pale pink translucent lustrous calcite crystal measuring 8.0 x 6.0 x 6.0 cm in size, this set on one end of a 11.0 x 8.5 x 8.0 cm matrix. Shows all around 360 degrees and can be displayed from many different angles. The crystal is in excellent condition damage-wise. Very fine for this locality. A wonderful water clear lustrous colorless single terminated prismatic calcite crystal measuring 6.6 x 1.7 x 1.3 cm in size. Like a crystal model for the species. A wonderful classic British calcite specimen consisting of a twinned gemmy colorless glassy lustrous grouping measuring 5.2 x 4.6 x 4.5 cm in size overall. The twin planes are very obvious. Neat with several non-twinned crystals present as well. Complete all around; the only damage that I can find is on the back side of the piece and that being one of the non-twinned crystals cleaved at a termination. This is hard to detect. Beautiful gem quality amber colored scalenohedral calcite crystal, sharply terminated and undamaged, measuring 10.0 cm in size. Complete all around. This extremely aesthetic piece is of outstanding quality. Overall size: 14.5 x 14.0 x 6.0 cm. The specimen comes with a special acrylic display stand to exhibit as shown in the photos. From the find in 1997/1998, beautiful red lustrous transparent twinned crystals of calcite to 3.0 cm across scattered over a 13.0 x 7.5 x 4.5 cm matrix. Shows all around - micro-chipping is present on some crystal edges, typical of most all of these that I have ever seen. Overall this is in excellent condition. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.

Beautiful glassy colorless gemmy transparent calcite crystals forming a 8.6 x 6.0 x 5.3 cm cluster without matrix. Very neat crystallography on this one with a first generation scalenohedral calcite crystal, this studded by a later generation rhombohedral crystal, with the first generation crystal termination coming through the later rhombohedral crystal. Complete all around; I can find no points of attachment. I can find very tiny chipping along one crystal edge, this only seen by my eyes with a 10x loupe. A beautiful large cabinet combination piece from this prolific locality. The pictures here do not do this specimen the slightest justice! The piece consists of a 16.5 x 9.0 x 5.0 cm concave shaped basalt matrix, one side mostly covered by peach colored stilbite crystals to 4.0 cm in length. Near the center of the matrix is an attached grouping of pale yellow glassy gem quality twinned calcite set with a translucent lustrous lovely green apophyllite-(KF) crystal. The calcite measuring 4.0 cm across; the apophyllite-(KF) measures 3.5 cm. There is no damage. Again, the quality of the piece is outstanding; the piece is much better in person than as seen in these poor photographs. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 34: 29-33.

A 9.5 x 6.5 x 2.5 cm massive calcite matrix, the top mostly covered by deep pink flat-lying translucent calcite crystals to 2.0 cm in size. The base is flat on a calcite cleavage face. Minor kolwezite in association. In very good condition damage-wise. Previous label from dealer Gilbert Gauthier. Ref: Lapis 17(3), 13-40 (1992). Ex Lloyd Tate collection.

Large sharp metallic silver complete mirror-bright carrollite crystal measuring 3.2 x 3.0 x 1.5 cm. Crystallized all around - a floater. Light micro-chipping on what I would consider the back side, this visible in the photos. Overall very fine and choice for this species! Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
