An excellent mostly gemmy and transparent blue single terminated aquamarine crystal measuring 6.2 x 2.2 x 1.8 cm in size. Complete all around - no damage or chipping. The crystal exhibits a neat pyramidal termination. The edges and termination are very sharply formed. Very fine crystal for the locality. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.

Better in person than as in the photos, this is a large transparent lovely pink glassy tabular morganite crystal set on matrix. Measures 8.0 x 7.0 x 6.0 cm in size overall. The matrix consists of crystalline white albite and completely coats the back of the morganite crystal. No damage. This is a very fine large crystal. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. Mr. Tate's notes said that this specimen was formerly in the collection of noted gem dealer Hermann Bank, Idar-Oberstein, Germany.

A beautiful very slightly translucent to mostly opaque red prismatic double terminated beryl crystal measuring 1.4 x 0.5 x 0.4 cm in size, this perched aesthetically on the edge of a white 4.7 x 4.3 x 3.6 cm rhyolite matrix. A gemmy blue to bluish-green aquamarine crystal, double terminated and kind of unusual in that it is so "squat" in size. Measures 6.8 x 5.5 x 4.4 cm overall. There is attached feldspar and tourmaline in places. No damage. The basal termination shows a hollow hole going up into the crystal. Shows nicely all around 360 degrees. Fine gem crystal specimen! Very pretty blue gem quality double terminated aquamarine crystal measuring 8.5 x 4.0 x 3.8 cm in size. This is partly "jacketed" with blocky white crystals of albite to 1.0 cm in size. Some chipping is present at the base of the crystal, lower right as you look at it. Complete all around; the base of the crystal is naturally terminated. Superb combination piece from this noted locality. Gemmy glassy tabular pale blue transparent crystals of beryl, the prominent one measuring 4.5 x 3.0 x 1.5 cm in size, set on a muscovite matrix with lustrous black cassiterite crystals. This is a very three dimensional specimen that can be viewed in a number of ways. Light microscopic rubbing on some of the cassiterite crystals, not easily visible to the naked eye. Beautiful combination specimen consisting of a pale blue transparent gemmy lustrous aquamarine crystal, this naturally etched and double terminated. Part of the crystal is "jacketed" with white crystals of albite. These are in turn dotted with brilliant orange-red crystals of spessartine averaging 0.15 cm in size.
