A showy and attractive cabinet sized matrix example of gem topaz. A glassy gem quality transparent topaz crystal measuring 2.5 x 1.7 x 1.7 cm in size is perched aesthetically upon a matrix of white bladed crystallized albite and milky colorless dull quartz. No damage and the crystal shows nicely all around. There is a second less prominent topaz crystal present on the front left side of the matrix. Size: 9.7 x 7.0 x 5.5 cm. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
